Explain the difference in temperature of air.

Warm air rises up since its density is less while cools air sink because it has more density. The continuous process of rising up of warm air and sinking down of cool air is known as convection current in the atmosphere. Cold air mass has bigger density compared to warm air mass. Place near the poles south or north have a cooler air compared to equatorial region.
